At HHA’s maintenance service building and yard the concrete floor slabs were showing signs of deflection. We undertook an investigation inside and outside of the building and proposed a solution to pump foam concrete into the voids that were found under the slabs.
This was a challenging project due to the location within a park in Finchley with limited access on both sides. The existing 8m long x 1.2m wide timber bridge over Dollis Brook was in urgent need of replacement.
Following our successful completion of Phases 1 and 2 we were awarded Phase 3 works which included more concrete slabs to extend their yard further along with ducting, fencing, street lighting and completion of the drainage system and a packaged pump station.
Dura Composites main operations base in Telford Road required major improvements and extensions to their external storage areas. Amicus were contracted to excavate and infill a number of large gaps between existing concrete slabs to maximise and improve the storage facility.
This was a small project for Toppesfield which we managed and delivered for them effectively as main contractor with Toppesfield undertaking the surfacing element. Brookwood Cemetery is the largest in the UK.

Amicus undertook this project for KKB which involved a new road connecting Manor Royal with the A2011 dual carriageway.
We were asked to price and mobilise for this project in the space of a week to ensure the client met their piling commencement date.
We collaborated with Browne on this project to refurbish this bridge over the New River. The bridge was in a bad state of repair and had sections closed off and it had become unsafe to remain open to the general public.
