Telford Road Yard Extension and Improvements – Phases 1 & 2

Dura Composites main operations base in Telford Road required major improvements and extensions to their external storage areas.

Amicus were contracted to excavate and infill a number of large gaps between existing concrete slabs to maximise and improve the storage facility. Once this phase was completed a larger extension phase was implemented involving drainage, ducting, earthworks, subbase and concreting along with tree clearance and security fencing.

The works had to be coordinated on a daily basis with the client’s multiple forklift movements and incoming/outgoing deliveries. Works were completed successfully with a third phase due in 2020.
