During the winter in early 2022 a severe storm damaged two steel tubular piles at the Launch Jetty harbour which secured a large pontoon and also damaged a steel tubular pile at Ha’Penny Pier gangway pontoon.
These works involved improvements to the existing warden’s facility at Landguard Point in Felixstowe including works to the bungalow and garages.
This was our first project as Amicus and involved an ambitious programme to deliver a new site access along the busy Parkway dual carriageway in the centre of Chelmsford.
We commenced this project when the houses were still under construction but no external works had begun. Our package of works included the foul and surface water drainage, ducts and services, full depth road construction, paving and landscaping.
This project proved challenging in more ways than one. We commenced the work for Allston as sole subcontractor delivering the site clearance and enabling works for the new housing development.
We were appointed to this project by London Borough of Havering (LBH) as a direct result of our performance at the Lexington Way development where we impressed the council representatives with our quality of work, safety and performance.
