Lexington Way Housing Development, Upminster
We commenced this project when the houses were still under construction but no external works had begun. Our package of works included the foul and surface water drainage, ducts and services, full depth road construction, paving and landscaping.
The access to the site was off Lexington Way, a busy residential road in a dense local authority housing estate, and the access width was only just over 3m wide and was also the joint access for the rear garages and gardens to the existing properties. All construction traffic had to use this access so the substantial muckaway and import of materials had to be closely coordinated. The works were phased to align with the house build programme.
Amicus delivered the external works to enable timely completion of the overall project.
