Navigation House – Radar Mast Painting and Scanner Replacement

During the Outer Pontoon refurbishment undertaken on the adjacent beach we undertook the repainting of the radar tower and the replacement of the scanner in collaboration with HHA’s scanner supplier and radar consultant. We erected a scaffold access tower at the top of the building to gain access to the radar mast and undertake preparation and painting of the mast. The scanner replacement was coordinated to take place over one day to minimise disruption to HHA’s VTS operation.
