Victoria Embankment – New River Thames Mooring Facility – Access Ramps

Amicus were appointed to fabricate and install the new access ramps and stairs for access to their new corporate function and mooring facility on the Thames adjacent to Waterloo Bridge.

These works followed previous enabling works at the site along with works in the new pontoons at the fabrication location in Southampton.

Access and footpath loadings were very limited so Amicus proposed that the ramps and stairs were designed in individual elements to be lifted and assembled manually.

The deliveries were then coordinated overnight and the installation successfully completed in 2 days.
