Slipway and Quay Wall Extension, Leigh on Sea

Following a competitive tender process we were awarded this project to extend the existing slipway using hardwood timber piles and frame with a GRP deck along with an extension to the sloped quay wall using a steel frame and GRP decking. A steel pile was also driven to support a future davit crane. These improvements will allow the scouts to take advantage of a longer tidal range and make more advantage of their yard facility. The works were coordinated around the tides to ensure completion on time and to the satisfaction of the client.
