Shotley Pier – Parapet Installation

Following our successful completion of Phase 1 of the pier renovations we were contracted to install a new parapet to enable the client to open the pier and maximise fund raising for future phases. At each post position we needed to drill a 700mm vertical hole through the pier edge timbers to install a steel tie rod. Bespoke posts were fabricated and galvanised along with 60mm dia kee klamp tube with mesh infill.
