Pontoon Concrete and Screeding, Southampton Docks

The pontoons for Woods River Cruises new mooring facility alongside Victoria Embankment were fabricated in Southampton Docks by SMS.

Amicus mobilised to the dock in Southampton to place structural concrete inside the pontoon compartments using concrete pumps then semi dry concrete placed manually to form sloped benching for the pontoon waste water tanks.

A final grano finishing screed was also manually placed.
