Ha’Penny Pier – Painting and Water Pipe Works

This project was for our regular client, Harwich Haven Authority, and involved the preparation and re-painting of the Victorian visitor centre/museum and the café/amenity building on the pier along with the repainting of the pier lighting columns and benches.

These works required a scaffold system to safely gain access to the buildings especially over the water. As part of these works we also replaced the water main under the pier along with new cctv and wifi cabling which required scaffold access and coordination with the tides. These works had to be undertaken alongside the general public at this popular tourist attraction which involved coordination and timing to minimise the impact on the pier visitors and businesses.

The works were completed on time and to budget.
