Ha’Penny Pier – Entrance Deck Replacement

This is another phase of repair works at Ha’Penny Pier which we have been involved with since 2017. This phase concentrated on the entrance area where a number of decking support timbers were found to be rotten. We kept the pier open to pedestrians throughout the work. A scaffold deck was installed under the pier for safety and access. The decking and support timbers were removed and then replaced. Other works also involved replacing under pier drainage for the pier café utilising the scaffold deck to gain easier access.
