Brightlingsea Lobster Hatchery Building Fit Out

HHA are collaborating with a local fisherman to bring lobsters back to the coast around Brightlingsea and Harwich. Amicus were contracted to convert a vacant industrial unit into an office and classroom which incorporated a large sea water tank to house sea life species. Amicus developed the build plan, proposed materials and undertook all building works. Scope included a steel frame over the water tank, timber framing for walls and ceiling with insulation, marine plywood boarding, staircase, plastic coverings to lower level walls, M&E installation, floor screed, painting and full height/width double glazed windows and doors. We also installed a sewer connection to the local private network so a toilet unit could be installed for the future visitors.
